A former associate counsel with ENSCO International, Gigi Cowan-Bondick currently dedicates much of her life to philanthropy. On the board of directors for Concord-Carlisle Community Chest, Cowan-Bondick contributes to its mission of more than 65 years of supporting social service agencies in Concord and Carlisle, Massachusetts. Since being elected to the board, she has served on its Allocations Committee and provided input as to which groups should obtain grants from the organization and how much money they should receive. Gigi Cowan-Bondick also helped institute a mid-year review to evaluate how recipients have utilized their grant money. Moreover, she participated on the Search Committee to find a new director for the Chest.
Along with the Concord-Carlisle Community Chest, Cowan-Bondick aids other nonprofit groups. As part of Heading Home, she joins a group of like-minded individuals who dedicate their time and money to ending homelessness throughout the state. This organization allows Gigi Cowan-Bondick to take part in Up and Out Moves, in which a team cleans and furnishes an apartment for a family in need before they take up residence. In addition, she performs pro bono legal work for indigent people who require counsel in domestic and family law.
